From a questionnaire to an answer that is correct
Four steps. The first is free, takes you two minutes and can be done today.
Setting the boundary To do now
You paste the questions you received into the capcheck. We place them alongside the voluntary EU standard for SMEs and mark per question: this is in it, this goes beyond it, or we are not sure. For the questions that go beyond it, you receive the sentence with which you decline them politely — with the regulation included, so your customer can verify that you are right. No account needed and we do not store your questions.
Building your dossier
For the questions that remain we need data. You upload what you already have — energy bill, fuel receipts, a printout from your payroll administration. We read from it what we need and show you what we think we see. You confirm whether it is correct; what we cannot extract from it, we ask you. Build it once, and every next questionnaire comes from it.
Calculating with established factors
Consumption is converted to CO₂ using the official set of factors, with the source and the reference date below it. For a country where we do not have an established set for, we do not show a figure. Rather an empty field than a number that looks good and is wrong.
Answering and storing
The questionnaire goes back completed, or you receive a basic report based on the standard, with a verification link so your customer can check when it was drawn up. Your dossier remains in place; the next questionnaire comes from it. A hallmark it is not — that does not exist for these reports, not with us and not anywhere.
What you can do today and what is coming
Step 1 works and is free. Steps 2 through 4 are being built — you can already sign up for them, then you will be notified as soon as your dossier can be built, and you will know in advance what it will cost. We do not ask you to pay anything upfront for something that does not exist yet.
Two minutes, no account, no obligation.
How we keep track of our sources
The standard and the regulation below it change. Every week we check what is new and which topics and which fields that affects. If something changes that affects your dossier, you will be notified — you do not have to follow the regulations yourself.
Monthly we check whether our references are still correct: does the regulation still exist, and is the quote still literally in it? If it no longer matches, the topic gets a flag and the date of the last successful check is not moved up.
