Privacy statement

1. Who is responsible?

esgia.eu is a service of Point2Create BV, Energieweg 1, 3133 EB Vlaardingen, Netherlands, Chamber of Commerce 63324547. For all privacy questions, you can contact office@esgia.eu.

2. What data do we process?

For an account: your name, email address, company name and billing details, and if you provide them, also your Chamber of Commerce number and VAT number. For the capcheck: nothing — the questions you paste into it are assessed and then deleted. For your ESG dossier: the documents you upload (such as energy bills, fuel receipts and extracts from your administration) and the figures that come from them. For visits to the site: anonymised visit statistics.

The questions you paste into the free capcheck are not retained by us if you are not logged in — they are assessed and then deleted.

We use your dossier data to answer your questionnaires and for nothing else: not for research, not for benchmarks, and we do not sell or share them with anyone. An answer only leaves if you send it yourself.

3. Why and for how long?

We process account data to be able to provide and bill the service; we retain invoices for seven years because tax law requires it. We retain your ESG dossier as long as you are a customer, precisely because its reuse is the service; after cancellation we delete it, or sooner if you ask. The capcheck retains nothing.

4. Your rights

You can view, correct, delete or export your data. You do not even have to ask us: via Settings → Download all your data you get everything we have about you as a ZIP file with one click. If you prefer to send us a message, we will respond within thirty days. If you disagree with how we handle your data, you can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.

5. Cookies

Functional cookies for login and security are always on. We only place statistics cookies after your consent, and you can refuse them without the site working any less.
